Our Impact
Over the next year, the Triangle Scholarship Organization will invest in girls and young women across Durham, Wake, and surrounding counties through scholarships, mentorship, confidence-building, professional networking, and leadership development—creating a new pipeline of confident, community-driven servant leaders.
$5,000+
TSO will award over $5,000 in scholarships in its inaugural year, with a commitment to increasing that amount annually as our program grows. In addition, our titleholders will have the opportunity to earn further scholarships at the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Competition—expanding their access to educational funding beyond the local level.
Our goal is simple: to reduce financial barriers to higher education for young women in the Triangle area. With textbooks averaging $125 each and annual college costs exceeding $17,000 at local institutions, even modest scholarships can provide meaningful, immediate relief—helping participants stay focused on their education, goals, and future.
150+ Hours
TSO titleholders will collectively contribute more than 150 hours of community service during the 2026-2027 year—actively engaging with organizations and initiatives across Durham, Raleigh, and the broader Triangle Area.
The vibrant communities across the Triangle offer countless opportunities to make a meaningful difference, and our titleholders will be visible, hands-on leaders—supporting local nonprofits, participating in community events, and championing causes they are passionate about.
Through their service, our titleholders don't just give back—they build lasting connections, raise awareness for important issues, and strengthen the communities they represent.
1,000+ Impacted
Through their combined efforts in service, mentorship, community engagement, and professional development, TSO titleholders will impact more than 1,000 individuals across the Triangle each year.
From volunteering with local nonprofits to participating in high-impact community events—such as local charity walks, festivals, and school-based programs—our titleholders will be visible, engaged leaders throughout Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding communities..
